International travel

Under no circumstance should you travel internationally with your NHS provided equipment.

If you need oxygen abroad, you will need to make the necessary arrangements before you travel. It is important to understand that you will have to pay for any oxygen supply abroad. The provision of oxygen abroad can often be expensive and complex to organise.

We recommend only booking a holiday once you have confirmed that you are able to organise suitable oxygen provision for your trip and have confirmation of the costs involved.

If you are travelling abroad, below you will find links to several companies that may be able to assist with arrangements. We emphasise the importance of planning and organising well in advance of any travel.
