Dolby Vivisol supports Covid-19 vaccine response

Dolby Vivisol is proud to be able to actively support the Covid-19 vaccine response.

The need to provide a vaccine for Covid-19 to everyone is widely documented and the speed at which this is now being delivered is a credit to everyone involved.

When the vaccines were first introduced, it was reported that there were a few extremely rare instances where the recipient of the vaccine had not responded well and suffered an anaphylactic shock. The remedy for such an adverse and unusual reaction (which could occur from any vaccine) can include adrenaline and high-flow oxygen. The need for oxygen within vaccination clinics was, therefore, deemed a fundamental requirement for continuing the vaccination programme as a precautionary measure – and it was needed quickly.

Dolby Vivisol was able to respond to this demand and support the NHS and the other organisations involved in setting up the vaccination clinics, helping prevent any delay in the crucial roll-out of the vaccines. In the most recent second wave of the virus, Dolby Vivisol has aided more than 50 clinics and centres by providing high-flowing oxygen equipment in locations such as GP surgeries, masonic halls, churches and large vaccine hubs in Guildford and Epsom.

Dolby Vivisol’s team have worked around the clock to sustain this requirement and will continue to do so, as well as ensuring their home respiratory care patients continue to receive the oxygen, support and assistance they need in their day-to-day lives.
